The election for new board members is on 09/17/2026!
You may vote once for up to two different candidates, but we recommend only voting once for Adam Halfpop. This will make it more likely for him to win. But if you happen to know one of the other candidates and want to support them, please do. DO NOT VOTE for more than 2 candidates or your ballot will be invalidated.
I am excited to announce my interest in serving on our HOA Board of Directors. I have been a resident of our community for 11 years, and during that time I have developed a strong understanding of our community, fellow residents, our CC&R’s, and the processes that help maintain and govern our neighborhood.
I currently serve as a Fire Captain/Paramedic and have more than 23 years experience in the fire and medical service. My career as a public servant has taught me the importance of professionalism, accountability, communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and treating everyone with respect and compassion.
I also bring a diverse set of practical and professional skills, including customer service, public safety, research and analysis, financial responsibility, pest control, and hands-on construction experience involving landscaping, drywall, and concrete work. I believe having a board member who can look at community issues from both a practical and analytical perspective can be valuable when making decisions that affect our neighborhood.
When elected to serve our community, I will strive to be a board member who is accessible and approachable. I will listen to our residents and their concerns or ideas. I will do the research, pay attention to the details, consider the financial impact of decisions. Most importantly, I will approach issues fairly and professionally. I’ll emphasize the importance of improving the communication between the board, our management company, and our Architectural Review Committee. I feel it’s necessary to review the outdated and conflicting CC&R’s that govern our community, and to update those that are most important to the residents of Gateway Ranch.
Ultimately, I want every resident to love where they live and feel comfortable with the people making decisions on behalf of the community. I want residents to be more involved with their community and trust their board, not despise them.
I would be honored to have the opportunity to serve our community and help build a positive, collaborative, and cohesive relationship between our residents and the HOA Board.

Come to the 2026 annual meeting on Sept. 17, 2026 @ 6pm. Meet the candidates in person and also maybe meet your long time neighbor or someone that has just joined our community! Hope to see as many of you there that can attend in person.
